William Osler Health System

Location: Brampton and Etobicoke, Ontario

The William Osler Health System (Osler) is one of Canada’s largest community hospitals, serving 1.3 million people in one of the most diverse regions in Ontario. Osler includes the Brampton Civic Hospital (BCH), new Etobicoke General Hospital (EGH) and new Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness (PMC).

Agnew Peckham has played an integral role in several of Osler’s major hospital planning projects spanning back to the organizations beginnings in 1997. We have developed Stage 1 Master Program Submissions, Stage 2 Functional Program Submissions, and Functional Output Specifications (FOS) as part of Project Specific Output Specifications (PSOS) at all three sites, including two new Greenfield hospitals and major redevelopment and expansion of a third site.

The most recent projects include:

  • Developing the Stage 2 Functional Program Submission for Phases 1 and 2 of EGH and FOS for Phase 1 for new clinical and ambulatory care wings
  • Developing the Stage 1 Proposal, Stage 2 Functional Program Submission and FOS for PMC Phase 1
  • Developing the Stage 1 Submission for Phase 2 services at PMC; primarily post-acute beds and services to help create acute care inpatient capacity at BCH
  • Developing the Stage 1 Proposal for the radiation oncology project at BCH
